1. Agreement:

By using this site or creating a board, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and all changes therein as posted.

You must be 13 or older to use this site, create an account, visit any of our boards, or to create a board.

ChatAbout.Us is provided as-is with no guarantees for fitness for any particular use. You agree to ChatAbout.Us's limitations including all changes in these terms as made and published on this site, with or without additional notice.

2. Advertisements:

By hosting with us, you agree that you will keep our advertisements on the top of your forums. Any hostee who has altered, or discarded them will be immediately expelled from our service, without warning. You may not, under any circumstances place an advertisement for another product or service on your forums. This agreement requires exclusive showings on each forum. Our definition of advertisement includes any graphics, popups, popunders, popins that sell a product or service or a commission. You may add a donations link. If you provide a valuable service individuals may compensate you for your time and effort in that regard.

Redirection of a forum hosted using ChatAbout.Us to another forum or website, whether it be residing on the ChatAbout.Us servers or not, is prohibited.

3. Content:

The content of a board is the posts, messages, links, emails, uploaded files, or any other user created data (.Content.). The poster is responsible for any Content transmitted to a ChatAbout.Us server. As the creator of a board, it is your job to make sure the Content posted on your board complies with the rules and these Terms of Service. ChatAbout.Us does not guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, quality or the integrity of any Content. ChatAbout.Us does not guarantee that Content will not be lost, deleted, or damaged.

4. Prohibited Content:

Prohibited Content is not allowed (a) that violates any law including, the laws of any locality, state, country, nation or international law; (b) that infringes upon any rights (copyrights, patents and privacy rights); (c) that is threatening, defamatory, racist, abusive, obscene, or profane; (d) that carries, viruses, or any other harmful computer software; (e) that is false or libelous; (f) that involves pyramid schemes or enables spam; (g) that promotes or involves gambling, illegal drugs, or terrorism; (h) that promotes or carries Warez, CD-Keys, Serial Numbers, etc.; (i) that involves the impersonation of any other person or entity; (j) that includes pornography, nudity, or sexual material of any kind.

You may not post, upload, link to, or email any Content that contains, promotes, instructs about, or provides prohibited Content. As the creator of a board, you are responsible for ensuring that no prohibited Content exists on your board and that no part of your board violates the Terms of Service or the User Agreement.

5. Monitoring and Limiting Content:

ChatAbout.Us does not preview any Content transmitted but reserves the right to check any board for prohibited content. ChatAbout.Us has the right to access any board and its related Content and delete, edit, or restrict access to any Content. You agree that ChatAbout.Us may disclose and utilize any Content at any time.

Any Content posted on ChatAbout.Us is the exclusive responsibility of the person who posted it. ChatAbout.Us is not responsible for and does not control or endorse Content at any time. You will bear any and all risk of reliance on the accuracy, validity or legitimacy of Content you post.

6. Rights to Posted Content:

ChatAbout.Us has the right to publish, store and maintain the content. Any content uploaded or posted to ChatAbout.Us may be published by ChatAbout.Us.

7. Enforcement of Rules/Terms of Service:

ChatAbout.Us has the right to access any area of any board.

ChatAbout.Us may edit, delete, or restrict access to any Content/account/board or services as enforcement of the rules and Terms of Service.

8. Termination:

You agree that ChatAbout.Us may remove your account at any time for any reason and may delete your board, or your account on any ChatAbout.Us board. ChatAbout.Us may ban your e-mail address, username, etc or remove/change any Content from any board or from your account, without notice or compensation.

Your account or board may be deleted for any violation of the ChatAbout.Us rules, Terms of Service, or for any other reason. ChatAbout.Us is not required to explain why your account/board/Content was deleted or edited.

9. Disclaimer Of Warranties:

Your use of any ChatAbout.Us service is at your own risk. ChatAbout.Us is provided as-is. ChatAbout.Us disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, fitness for a particular purpose or a particular use.

ChatAbout.Us makes no warranty that the Service is secure, error-free or uninterrupted or that the information acquired by using ChatAbout.Us will be accurate.

Content obtained through the use of ChatAbout.Us is used at your own risk. You, not ChatAbout.Us will be responsible for any damage that results from obtaining, following, or using any Content. You agree that if you use such content, you will indemnify ChatAbout.Us for all damages, legal and other costs that may result from your use of ChatAbout.Us's content and services.

10. Limitation Of Liability:

You understand and agree that ChatAbout.Us will not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from use and/or inability to use the Service.

You use ChatAbout.Us's Service at your own risk.

11. Legal Disputes:

You agree that the laws of the Province of Ontario apply to any lawsuits filed with ChatAbout.Us and that any lawsuits will be filed in Ontario. By using this site, you accept the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

12. Modification Of These Terms:

ChatAbout.Us reserves the right to change these terms at any time. All changes will be effective at the time they are posted. Your continued use of ChatAbout.Us will constitute your acceptance of any modifications made.

13. User Disputes:

You alone are responsible for your interactions with other users of the Service. ChatAbout.Us reserves the right but is not obligated, to mediate or solve disputes between you and other users of the Service.

14. Indemnity and Resale:

You agree to indemnify and hold ChatAbout.Us and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and employees harmless from any demand made by anyone due to the Content you post to the Service, your use of the Service, or your violation of any law or these Terms of Service. Any claim arising out of or related to use of the Service or the Terms of Service must be filed within one (1) year after the cause arose or be forever barred.

You agree not to sell the Service or access to the Service, other than Content which you create.

Enforcing the Terms of Service:

ChatAbout.Us's failure to enforce any part of these Terms of Service is not a waiver of any term or condition of these Terms of Service.
